MOVERS & SHAKERS David C. Roberts Appointed as Carson City Manager

The Carson City Council has appointed David C. Roberts, Jr. as their new City Manager from within their internal ranks. Mr. Roberts has proven to be a recognized leader with a vision to create the City of Carson an even better place to live, work and play.

Originally hired by the city as the Assistant City Manager in 2018, David oversaw Community Services, Code Enforcement, Emergency Services, Information Technology, City Council staff and Public Information Office.

“For more than three years, I have been extremely fortunate to work, collaborate and enjoy our successes with the City Council, the residents and all employees,” said Roberts. “I believe in building bridges not barriers. My emphasis has been and will continue to be implementing all City Council priorities while working collectively with our dynamic and dedicated employees to provide the highest quality services to our residents.”

Roberts has over 22 years of private, public and federal experience while serving in multiple capacities of Administration (Human Resources & Finance), Risk Management, Community Services, Cable Television, Economic Development and Community Development & Block Grants (CDBG).

Kim Hunter Joins Orchestra Partners  Corporate Advisory Board
